HYFIN, a Radio Milwaukee station (WYMS-88.9FM HD2), will host the “HYFIN Business Breakfast” on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at Radio Milwaukee’s Walker’s Point studios, 220 E Pittsburgh Ave., from 8:30 to 11 a.m.

Hosted in conjunction with the African American Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin (AACCWI), the breakfast will be co-emceed by Nikki Purvis, President and CEO of the AACCWI, and Element Everest-Blanks, HYFIN brand ambassador and on-air host.

“The AACCWI is proud to join HYFIN for the upcoming Business Breakfast,” said Purvis. “As two organizations committed to amplifying Black-owned businesses and entrepreneurs, we look forward to discussing how businesses can effectively and authentically promote their products and services.”

The event will feature a presentation from Radio Milwaukee, with special guest Emerald Mills of Turning Tables, on the opportunities for businesses to cultivate lasting professional relationships through underwriting with HYFIN. After the presentation, attendees will be able to network with one another and account executives at Radio Milwaukee. Complimentary breakfast for the event will be provided by Turning Tables.

“We hope to use this breakfast as a way to share with our community the ways that HYFIN can help support and amplify their business,” said HYFIN Program Director Tarik Moody. “We’ll share examples about the dynamic relationships we’ve built with local businesses so far, like that of our collaborative relationship with Soul Brew Kombucha.”

Details for the morning are as follows:

  • 8:30-9 a.m. – Doors open, breakfast served
  • 9-10 a.m. – Presentation from HYFIN and African American Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin, and facilitated conversation with Nikki Purvis
  • 10-10:30 a.m. – Networking and connections with Radio Milwaukee account executives

The breakfast is free and open to all. Guests and business owners can register to attend at bit.ly/HYFINBizBreakfast. Media can download event artwork at bit.ly/HYFINBizBreakfastMedia.
