1. Halloween Candy Bag Giveaway: Friday, Oct. 27

Essential Life Home Care Services LLC will be giving away free candy bags from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27 at 4919 W. Good Hope Road., Suite 101.  More information here.

2.  Exotic Pet Surrender: Saturday, Oct. 28

If you have any exotic pets that you can no longer care for, then bring them to the Exotic Pet Surrender Event hosted by Havenwoods State Forest Park and J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue. The event will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Havenswoods State Forest Park, 6141 N. Hopkins St. Domestic pets, such as dogs, cats, rabbits, pigs and chickens will not be accepted. More information here.

3.  Reefing USA: Saturday, Oct. 28

Milwaukee’s first ReefingUSA show is from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 2200 W. Mount Vernon Ave. With free admission, you will be able to check out a variety of reef aquariums and  purchase corals from vendors. There’s a chance to win door prizes. The first 100 people to arrive will receive free coral fragments. More information here.

4. Black Nerd Cosplay Ride: Sunday, Oct. 29

Red Bike and Green will be hosting a “Black Nerd Cosplay Ride,” where organizers hope to see you  dressed in a costume and partake in a short bike ride on Sunday, Oct. 29 at 2344 N. 16th St. Meet at 1 p.m. Ride at 1:30 p.m.  More information here.

5.  Spades and Dominoes: Sunday, Oct. 29

A spades and dominoes game night will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29. This free event is for individuals of any expertise who are willing to get competitive and make new friends. It will take place at  7571 N. Teutonia Ave. More information here.
