1. Kids’ Breakfast with Santa: Saturday, Dec. 16

Bring your kids to the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, 1531 W. Vliet St., for a free breakfast with Santa from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16. The first 200 kids, 12 years and younger, will receive a free pancake breakfast and a free toy.  More information here.

2. Eco-friendly Holiday Gifts & Treasure Trade Saturday, Dec. 16

The Eco Families Sustainability Learning Group will host an eco-friendly gift giving and “treasure trade” from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 5305 W. Capitol Drive. Individuals are encouraged to bring gently used items to trade with others. More information here.

 3. Your Move MKE Open House: Saturday, Dec. 16

Your Move MKE is a nonprofit organization on Milwaukee’s South Side that provides programs and resources for young people. You can learn more about their programs and meet the staff from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 1107 W. Historic Mitchell St.  More information here.  4. Celebrating the Solstice: Saturday, Dec. 16

The Milwaukee Central Library will be teaching children about the winter solstice and making candles from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 814 W. Wisconsin Ave. More information here.

5. Breakfast with Santa Drive-Thru: Saturday, Dec. 16

From 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17, UMOS invites individuals to its drive-thru style event at 2701 S. Chase Ave. to pick up a free gift from Santa and a McDonald’s breakfast gift certificate. More information here.
