1. Books and Plants Exchange: Friday, Dec. 22
Join the Sickle Cell Warriors of Wisconsin from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 22 at 2107 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive to swap a book or plant. You’ll have the chance to learn about various species and discover new books. Refreshments will also be served. More information here.
2. Fondy’s Milwaukee Winter Farmers Market: Saturday, Dec. 23
Fondy’s Milwaukee Winter Farmers Market is held weekly at 5305 W. Capitol Drive, where farmers and artisans gather to sell produce, body products and more. The next one takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 23. More information here.
3. Christmas Giveaway: Saturday, Dec. 23
Raising the Bar Solutions and A Better Tomorrow for Families invites you to their second annual Christmas giveaway from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 23 at 2717 W. Atkinson Ave. The event will feature toys, winter apparel and resources. There will also be $200 given to 10 families in need. More information here.
4. “Islamic Jeopardy”: Sunday, Dec. 24
Join the Milwaukee Islamic Dawah Center at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 24 at 5135 N. Teutonia Ave. for “Islamic Jeopardy.” Attendees will compete to answer questions on various Islamic topics to win a prize. Click here to RSVP. More information here.
5. Christmas at City of Light Church: Sunday, Dec. 24
City of Light Church will hold a Christmas celebration from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 24 at 6725 W. Burleigh St. Music, family photos and more will be available to ensure a good time. More information here.
