1. Washington Park Christmas Dinner Giveaway: Monday, Dec. 25

A Washington Park Christmas Dinner Giveaway will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 25 at 3940 W. Lisbon Ave. Pick up a hot meal that can feed a family of four. 2. Christmas Party: Monday, Dec. 25

Cross Roads Kitchen will host a Christmas party from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 25 at 931 W. Madison St. The party includes a dinner, Santa Claus and more. To RSVP call 414-649-9555. More information here.

3. “Makin’ Moves Breakdancing”: Tuesday, Dec.26

Your Move MKE will hold a six-week workshop every Tuesday called “Makin’ Moves Breakdancing.” Youths will learn about how breakdancing can benefit them. The next session is from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 26 at 1107 W. Historic Mitchell St. More information here.

4 .Garden Homes Chess Club at Atkinson Branch: Tuesday, Dec. 26

Play chess at the Milwaukee Public Library Atkinson Branch from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 26 at 1960 W. Atkinson Ave. All skill levels can participate. More information here.

5. Walks for Women: Thursday, Dec. 28

The Urban Ecology Center’s Menomonee Valley branch, 3700 W. Pierce St. invites women to take a walk from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 28 to build comfort in green spaces and a sense of community. More information here.
