1. Real Men Real Talk: Monday, Feb. 19

A barbershop style conversation will be held for Black men from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 19 at Gee’s Clippers Barber and Beauty Salon, 2200 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Men will discuss social issues that impact them daily, such as mental health, fatherhood and more. More information here.

2. Train Show: Monday, Feb.19

The Mitchell Park Domes Horticulture Conservatory, 524 S. Layton Blvd., hosts an annual floral show that features trains, a specific theme, and more. This year’s theme is  “Toyblox: Tiny Towns.” Adults and children will get to see a miniature train chugging through toys, blocks and other types of kid- friendly structures. 3. Yarn Night: Monday, Feb. 19

If you are into crocheting or knitting, you will have a chance to surround yourself with other yarn enthusiasts. Beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 19 at 2235 N. Farwell Ave., you can bring your supplies to either learn some new techniques, finish a project or lend a helping hand to beginners. More information here.

4. Game Night: Tuesday, Feb. 20

A game night is held at Owen’s Place every Tuesday for teens and adults ages 16 to 24. Come and play games and enjoy food. The next game night is Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 4610 W. Fond du Lac Ave. More information here.

5. Coffee Connection: Tuesday, Feb. 20

Walker’s Point Association will be hosting a “Coffee Connection” business-to-business networking event from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20 at NorthSouth Club, 230 E. Pittsburgh Ave. This is a moment for you to network with neighbors who share similar business interests. Anyone is welcome to come and refreshments will be provided. More information here.
