1.  All Girls Soccer Clinic: Friday, March 1

Milwaukee Simba Soccer Club will hold a free indoor soccer clinic for girls ages 11 to 13 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 1 at Mary Ryan Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee, 3000 N. Sherman Blvd. Participants will work on soccer skills, receive coaching and more. Please have your child wear comfortable clothing and bring water. Click here to register. More information here.

2. Gentle Chair Yoga: Friday, March 1

Experience the foundations of yoga, including standing positions, chair poses and more from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 1 at the Milwaukee Public Library Zablocki Branch, 3501 W. Oklahoma Ave. Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing and must fill out a physical activity waiver upon arrival. Click here to register. More information here.

3. A Walk in the Park: Friday, March 1

Take an hour-long walk in one of Milwaukee’s neighborhood parks on the first Friday of every month with the Milwaukee Parks Foundation and Milwaukee County Parks. The next walk is from noon to 1 p.m. on Friday, March 1 at King Park, 1531 W. Vliet St. More information here.

4. Pet Food and Supply Giveaway: Saturday, March 2

Roxz’s Resources & Awareness is a nonprofit organization that ensures families in need have the resources to care for their pets. The organization will give away free pet food and supplies from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 2 at the Dominican Center for Women, 2470 W. Locust St.  This is a first come, first-served event. 5. Women and Girls in Science: Sunday, March 3

To kick off Women’s History Month, Friends of Wehr Nature Center will hold an interactive event to celebrate women in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math). Children ages 10 and up can participate in science activities and meet local women working in STEAM fields. The event will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 3 at Greenhouse No.7 at the Mitchell Park Domes Horticulture Conservatory, 544 S. Layton Blvd. Click here to purchase $5 tickets.
