1. Community Job Fair: Monday, March 4

La Causa Charter School will hold a community job fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, March 4 at 1643 S. Second St. A variety of employers will be present, including Wisconsin Center District, social services, and various public safety departments. More information here.

2. Vaccine Clinic: Tuesday, March 5

Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin and the City of Milwaukee Health Department are partnering to offer a free vaccine clinic. The clinic will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5 at 5370 W. Fond du Lac Ave. Vaccines provided will be flu, COVID-19, and mpox. Click here to see if you’re eligible to receive a vaccine. More information here. 

3. Snack Hack: Tuesday, March 5

Bring your child to a cooking class where they will learn about nutritional foods and then make them. This interactive workshop will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5 at the Milwaukee Public Library Mitchell Street Branch, 906 W. Historic Mitchell St. More information here.

4. Foot Care Clinic: Wednesday, March 6

City on a Hill will hold its monthly foot clinic from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6 at 2224 W. Kilbourn Ave. Free foot services such as toenail trimming, diabetic foot maintenance and more will be offered. More information here.

5. Queer Trivia Night: Wednesday, March 6

The Milwaukee LGBT Community Center will hold a queer trivia night. You can win a prize if your team has the top scores and the best name. The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6 at 315 W. Court St. A $15 donation is suggested. More information here.
