1. Hip-Hop Chess Club Tournament: Friday, March 22

Your Move MKE will hold its Hip-Hop Chess Spring Blitz Tournament from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 22 at 1107 W. Historic Mitchell St. Sign up starts at 4 p.m. The registration fee is $20 for adult participants and entry is free for youth participants. People of all ages can win prizes and merchandise. 2. Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 23

Children from preschool through fourth grade are invited to participate in an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 23 at Garden Homes Lutheran Church, 2450 W. Roosevelt Drive. Children will also make crafts, listen to an Easter story and more. More information here.

3. BizStarts Health Week: Saturday, March 23

BizStarts Health Week will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 23 at 161 S. First St. Entrepreneurs will hear from experts about how their health can contribute to a well-performing business. Speakers will include yoga instructor Heather Nill and Dr. Zelda Okia, a life and weight loss coach at P&Z Coaching Excellence. Click here to register. More information here.

4. Community Mural Workshop: Saturday, March 23

Join students from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design for a mural workshop and sidewalk chalk drawings from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 23 at      Mitchell Street Arts, 710 W. Historic Mitchell St. More information here.

5. Intergenerational Health Fair and Charity Basketball Game: Saturday, March 23

In support of colorectal and prostate cancer awareness, Milwaukee’s community leaders and elected officials will face each other in a charity basketball game from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 23 at 5496 N. 72nd St. During this time, attendees can also receive free health screenings, purchase food, enjoy a live DJ and more.
