In this video, we speak to Maurice “Moe” Wince, owner of Sherman Park Grocery Store; Milwaukee residents Luz Roque and Gregorio G.; and Tammie Xiong, executive director of the Hmong American Women’s Association. We asked each of them to share what they like about Milwaukee and what they want people to know as thousands of visitors gather here this week for the Republican National Convention, or RNC.

NNS asked Milwaukeeans what they like most about their city and what they want the RNC to know about Milwaukee. Here’s what they said.

On Nov. 1, we kicked off our biggest and most important fundraiser of the year. Our goal is to raise $15,000 before midnight on Dec. 31, a milestone that will help ensure that we start 2026 on a solid foundation.
