1. Learn About Composting: Monday, Aug. 26

Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful Inc. invites adults to come learn about the importance of composting from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 26 at the Milwaukee Public Library Mitchell Street Branch, 906 W. Historic Mitchell St. More information here.

2. FEAR MKE Tuesday Night Runs: Tuesday, Aug. 27

Join FEAR MKE for its weekly Tuesday night run at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27 at Juneau Beer Garden, 900 N. Prospect Ave. Participants must fill out a waiver before running. Registration is required. 3. “Real Men Vote”: Tuesday, Aug. 27

100 Black Men of Milwaukee Inc. invites Black men to come listen to panelists talk about the importance of voting from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 700 W. State St. Registration is required. More information here. 

4.Grab & Go”: Wednesday, Aug. 28

Owen’s Place will have a “Grab & Go” from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at 4610 W. Fond du Lac Ave. Attendees will receive resources, snacks, clothing and other essentials for free. More information here.

5. Vinyl Vibes Wednesdays: Wednesday, Aug. 28

Bring your favorite vinyl records to play at Indeed Brewing Co., 530 S. Second St.,  from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28 and receive $2 off your first beer. More information here.
