1. District 2 Haunted House: Friday, Oct. 25
The Milwaukee Police Department District 2 will have a night filled with games, snacks, costumes and giveaways from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25 at 245 W. Lincoln Ave. All ages are welcome. More information here.
2. Latino Family Expo and Festival: Saturday, Oct. 26
El Conquistador Latino Newspaper will host the 13th annual Latino Family Expo and Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 at South Division High School, 1515 W. Lapham Blvd. There will be entertainment, job opportunities and more. Children and adults are welcome. More information here.
3. 2024 Sherman Park Harvest Fest: Saturday, Oct. 26
Milwaukee County Board Chairwoman Marcelia Nicholson will host the third annual Sherman Park Harvest Fest from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 3000 N. Sherman Blvd. Families will enjoy food, music and games. More information here.
4. Autumn Celebration: Saturday, Oct. 26
The Urban Ecology Center invites Washington Park residents to attend its annual fall celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 4023 W. Galena St. Enjoy pumpkin carving, pony rides, biking and more. More information here.
5. Fifth Annual Trunk or Treat: Sunday, Oct. 27
Gates Family Youth Center invites you to its fifth annual “Trunk or Treat” from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27 at 1840 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Children can come dressed in their favorite costume, play games and enjoy treats. More information here.
Bonus: Dia de los Muertos Festival and 5K: Saturday, Oct. 26
Join Forest Home Cemetery & Arboretum for its Dia de los Muertos Festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 2405 W. Forest Home Ave. The day will kick off with a 5K run/2K walk at 9:30 a.m.; check-in is at 8:30 a.m. The family festival will open at 10 a.m. and will feature music, arts and crafts, food trucks, resources and more. Bonus: Milwaukeeland: Saturday, Oct. 26
The City of Milwaukee is partnering with Rock the Vote to host “MilwaukeeLand” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 700 W. State St. The block-party style community festival will celebrate the first Saturday of early voting, with the aim of breaking down barriers to voting and empowering young people. The event will feature a free performance by Lil Uzi Vert, along with carnival games, roller rinks, food trucks and more. More information here.
