1. Foot Care Clinic: Wednesday, Nov. 6

City on a Hill Inc. will hold its monthly foot care clinic from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 2224 W. Kilbourn Ave. Free foot services, including toe nail trimming, diabetic foot maintenance and more will be offered. More information here.

2. Candela Wednesdays: Wednesday, Nov. 6

Every Wednesday, Daync Academy hosts a Latin night that is free and open to the public. You can salsa, bachata and more from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 636 S. Sixth St. More information here. 

3. Contractor’s Connection: Thursday, Nov. 7

The Multicultural Entrepreneurial Institute Inc. will host a  breakfast for contractors from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 3419 W. 4. Community Study Series: Thursday, Nov. 7 

Midtown Neighborhood Alliance is hosting a study series on the Growing MKE zoning plan. Residents from the 15th aldermanic district can learn about zoning changes that will impact housing, neighborhood design, cleanliness and safety. The session will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 2240 N. 17th St. Click here to register. More information here.

5. Voces de la Frontera Citizenship Classes: Thursday, Nov. 7 

Voces de la Frontera will offer citizenship classes for the English exam from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7 at the Milwaukee Public Library Mitchell Street Branch, 906 W. Historic Mitchell St. Classes will be offered in English and Spanish. To register, call 414-581-9617. Walk-ins are welcome if space allows. More information here.
