‘Family, friends and my new home’

What are you thankful for this season and why?

“I am thankful for family, friends and my new home. Getting together with family, listening to music, dancing, eating a variety of different foods and playing games on Thanksgiving Day are memories that mean a lot to me.”

‘Having a large family to spend time with’

What are you thankful for this season and why?

 “I recently lost a family member and it made me sad and depressed. I am thankful that I have a large family that I can spend time with. I won’t feel alone during this holiday. Before my family member passed, we decided to spend every Friday at a family member’s house playing games, eating and having good conversations. I will forever enjoy this memory that I shared with this family member before they passed.”

“I’m thankful for my wife, our baby girl, my family and my community. For our good health and thankful for a year full of opportunities and growth.

“I’m thankful to be alive. For my mom, siblings, Milton (her supervisor) and the Teen Impact Program. And for being able to experience a HBCU (historically Black colleges and universities) Tour and Experience.”
