1. Cut and Paste: A Solo Exhibit by Ellia Ana Hill: Friday, Dec. 6

Ellia Ana Hill is a Puerto Rican cut paper illustrator and artist. An opening reception of Hill’s solo exhibition will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6 at Latino Arts Inc., 1028 S. Sixth St. Her artwork showcases identity, culture and memory. More information here.

2. Bi Movie Night: Friday, Dec. 6

Bi+ Pride Milwaukee invites you to its “Bi Movie Night,” which honors bisexuals and pansexuals in film. The event will feature a movie called “Single All the Way” and will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6 at the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center, 315 W. Court St. More information here. 

3. Family Culture Night: Friday, Dec. 6

A family culture night will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6 at the Gerald L. Ignace Indian Health Center Inc., 930 W. Historic Mitchell St. Guest speaker Mark Denning will lead a discussion about Woodland floral designs, and participants will have the opportunity to craft their own Woodland floral design. A traditional meal will also be served. More information here. 

4. Grand Opening: Cinnabar Nutrition at Sherman Phoenix: Saturday, Dec. 7

Cinnabar Nutrition will have its grand opening from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Sherman Phoenix Marketplace, 3536 W. Fond du Lac Ave. There will be refreshments and menu specials for you to enjoy. More information here.

5. 53212 Marketplace Holiday Edition 2024: Sunday, Dec. 8 

The Riverworks Development Corp. will host the eighth annual 53212 Marketplace Holiday Edition from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 3700 N. Fratney St. Community members can shop local vendors and eat food. More information here.
