The MKE Rental Housing Resource Center (RHRC) is a vital community hub working to ensure housing stability for renters and landlords across Milwaukee. Born out of a citywide need for coordinated rental assistance and support, RHRC brings together a coalition of local organizations to provide comprehensive services under one roof.
From eviction prevention and legal aid to mediation and emergency rental assistance, RHRC serves as a one-stop resource for individuals navigating the complexities of Milwaukee’s rental landscape. The center’s collaborative model includes partners such as Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee, Mediate Wisconsin, Community Advocates, and others—each contributing unique expertise to support residents in crisis.
“We’re here to listen, guide, and connect people with the help they need—whether they’re facing eviction, struggling with rent, or just trying to understand their rights,” says Ericka Crowley, Director of Rental Housing Resource Center.
RHRC also hosts educational workshops, community events, and outreach initiatives to empower renters and landlords alike. As Milwaukee continues to face housing challenges, RHRC remains committed to being a trusted, accessible, and compassionate resource for all.
