1. Candlelight Grief Vigil: Friday, June 13
Join Gerald L. Ignace Indian Health Center Inc. in a candlelight grief vigil from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 13 at 930 W. Historic Mitchell St. You will remember loved ones and share stories on individuals who have died from a drug overdose. There will be guest speakers, prevention resources, food and more. 2. Bloom & Groom Plant Sale: Saturday, June 14
You can support Muskego Way Forward through a “Bloom & Groom” plant sale happening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m on Saturday, June 14 at Reiske Park between South 23rd and West Lapham streets. There will be discounted plants and herbs for sale. Cash payments only are accepted. More information here.
3. Joy Fest: Saturday, June 14
City on a Hill Inc. invites families to a fest filled with activities, free health services, food and music. The fest will be from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 14 at 2224 W. Kilbourn Ave. More information here.
4. Cream City Cleanup: Saturday, June 14
Judo Brands is collaborating with local businesses to lead a community cleanup from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 14 at Rose Park, 3045 N. Martin Luther King Drive. All supplies, free lunch and event T-shirts will be provided to volunteers. More information here.
5. Mitchell Clarke Before Dark: Saturday, June 14
County Supervisor Juan Miguel Martinez will lead a community walk through Mitchell Park and Clarke Square Park from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 14. Participants will meet at the Mitchell Park Domes Horticulture Conservatory, 524 S. Layton Blvd. You will learn the history of each park. More information here.
