1. โCelebrate Cultureโ Summer Concert: Saturday, July 5
New Orleans Beau will be performing at the โCelebrate Cultureโ summer concert organized by Northcott Neighborhood House. The summer concert will be from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 5 at Rose Park, 3045 N. Martin Luther King Drive. More information here.
2. Park Rangers at Menomonee Valley: Saturday, July 5
Children and adults can help clean Menomonee Valley from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 5 at 3700 W. Pierce St. You will pick up trash and make note of any maintenance needs. All volunteers are encouraged to dress for the weather. Children younger than 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required. More information here.
3. Peace and Unity Pop-up: Saturday, July 5
Dream Team United WI will be partnering with local organizations to host a community cookout from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 5 at Atkinson Park, 936 W. Atkinson Ave. This is free and open to the public. More information here.
4. Enderis Park Farmers Market: Sunday, July 6
Enderis Park Neighborhood Association will kick off its farmers market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 6 at North 72nd and West Locust streets. There will be fresh and local foods for residents to purchase. EBT and SNAP benefits are accepted. More information here.
5. Zumba at Walkerโs Square Park: Sunday, July 6
Free Zumba classes will be held at the farmers market in Walkerโs Square Park from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, July 6 at 1031 S. Ninth St. You can come dance and explore the market. More information here.
