1. Emergency Town Hall: Monday, July 7 

Metcalfe Park Community Bridges encourages residents to attend a town hall meeting from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, July 7 on the second floor of 3624 W. North Ave. Five Pick ‘N Save grocery stores will be closing, and residents have the opportunity to engage in a conversation about food justice. More information here.

2. Snack Hack 2.0: Tuesday, July 8

Adults can gain cooking experience by attending Snack Hack 2.0 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8 at the Milwaukee Public Library Mitchell Street Branch, 906 W. Historic Mitchell St. You will learn how food is made, make cultural connections and more. More information here. 

3. Artisan Market: Tuesday, July 8 

Alice’s Garden Urban Farm will be hosting an artisan market from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8 at 2136 N. 21st St. There will be food, fresh produce, body products, jewelry and more for you to purchase. Please bring cash in small bills. More information here. 

4. The Tasty Roll: Thursday, July 10

Join Red Bike & Green-Milwaukee for a weekly bike ride through Lindsay Heights. Meetup time is 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 10 at The Taste of Lindsay Heights, 1617 W. North Ave. The ride is open to all ages and there will be refreshments for purchase. More information here. 

5. Pet Day: Thursday, July 10 

You can bring your pet to Zócalo Food Park from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 10 at 636 S. Sixth St. There will be pet vendors and live music. Food trucks will be open until 9 p.m. More information here.
