Urban Ecology Center – Menomonee Valley
(For adults & teens) Paddle eastward with us down the Menomonee River as we build on your existing kayaking skills. We’ll focus on refining technique, navigating moving water, and increasing your confidence on the river. Kayaks and lifejackets will be provided. Please wear closed-toe shoes suitable for getting in and out of the river, and bring a full bottle of water.
Participants will work together to team-carry kayaks down to the Canal Street Launch. Be prepared for moderate physical activity, including lifting, bending, reaching, and crouching.
