Girls Rock MKE is thrilled to present the 2025 showcase performances for Session 2 of Girls Rock Camp. Join us on Sunday, August 17th for an unforgettable afternoon full of music and empowerment! This family-friendly event will be held at Vivarium (1818 N. Farwell Ave. Milwaukee, WI 53202) from noon to 1:30 p.m. (doors open at 11:30 a.m.).
Come cheer on our campers as they take the stage to debut their original songs and celebrate their creative achievements. These showcases are the culmination of a week-long camp where young musicians collaborate to form bands, write original music, and gain confidence through self-expression. The performances promise to be heartwarming, high-energy, and inspiring for audiences of all ages.
Tickets are available on a sliding scale of $10-20 and can be purchased in advance or at the door on the day of each event (kids 10 and under attend free!). Don’t miss the chance to support local youth artists and experience the power of music and community!

Girls Rock camp is a week-long music education experience for girls and gender-expansive youth ages 8-17. Youth campers of all skill levels learn an instrument (guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, or vocals), form a band, write a song, and perform their song on stage at an end-of-camp showcase for friends, family, and fans.
The mission of Girls Rock MKE is to empower individuals of marginalized identities and diverse experiences through music education and performance.
