1. Real Men Real Talk: Monday, Aug. 18

Men and boys are encouraged to come to a monthly discussion held at Gee’s Clippers for a conversation on issues that men face in society. The next session, presented by Milwaukee County Better Ways to Cope, Wisconsin Community Services and Inpower, is from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 18 at 2200 N. Martin Luther King Drive. 2. Listen and Learn Tour: Monday, Aug. 18

Milwaukee Public Schools students, families, staff and community members are invited to join MPS Superintendent Brenda Cassellius at a listening session at 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 18 at Ralph H. Metcalfe School, 3400 W. North Ave. You have the chance to share ideas and ask questions. Click here to register. Refreshments will be provided. More information here.

3. BCA Talkback Session: Monday, Aug. 18

The Bronzeville Center for the Arts is leading a talkback session for community members to discuss Milwaukee’s future African American Art Museum. The plans for it are still ongoing, but BCA would like your input on what to do with the vacant building in the meantime. The session will be from noon to 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 18 at ThriveOn King, 2153 N. Martin Luther King Drive. More information here. 4. Snack Hack 2.0: Tuesday, Aug. 19

Adults can gain cooking experience by attending Snack Hack 2.0 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 19 at the Milwaukee Public Library Mitchell Street Branch, 906 W. Historic Mitchell St. You will learn how food is made, make cultural connections and more. More information here.

5. Vinyl Vibes Wednesdays: Wednesday, Aug. 20

Bring your favorite vinyl records to play from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20 at Indeed Brewing Co., 530 S. Second St., and receive $2 off your first beer. More information here.
