1. Rev-Up MKE: Monday, Sept. 8

Near West Side Partners Inc. will host its small business competition, Rev-Up MKE from 5:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 8 at The Rave Eagles Club, 2401 W. Wisconsin Ave. This is the chance for entrepreneurs to network and explore opportunities. Click here to register. More information here.

2. Life on the Spectrum: Tuesday, Sept. 9

Teens and adults who are on the autism spectrum are invited to a weekly peer group to discuss topics about relationships, family, mental state and more. The peer group meets from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at Independence First, 540 S. 3. Crime and Safety Meeting: Tuesday, Sept. 9

The Milwaukee Police Department District 6 will host a meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at the Milwaukee Public Library Zablocki Branch, 3501 W. Oklahoma Ave. You can listen to crime updates for the neighborhood and ask questions. More information here.

4. BLK Pride Tuesdays Karaoke Edition: Tuesday, Sept. 9

Black Pride Milwaukee, Inc. is hosting a karaoke night for the LGBTQ+ community at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at Missy Sweets Lounge, 3412 W. National Ave. You can feel free to sing or just relax. More information here.

5. Native Garden Workshop: Thursday, Sept. 11

All are welcome to the Harambee Eco Neighborhood native garden workshop from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11 at the Kuumba Juice & Coffee, 274 E.
