1. Fall Childhood Immunization Clinic: Saturday, Oct. 11

The City of Milwaukee Health Department is hosting a fall immunization clinic for children. Children can receive their vaccines from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11 at Northwest Health Center, 7630 W. Mill Road. Whether uninsured or covered by Medicaid, all are welcome. 2. Women’s Health Panel: Saturday, Oct. 11

The National Association of Black Journalists-Milwaukee will host a Black Women’s Health Panel to have an open discussion about physical and mental health and about seeking resources and support. The discussion is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11 at the Milwaukee Public Library Martin Luther King Branch, 2901 N. Martin Luther king Drive. More information here.

3. Coffee and Bouquets: Saturday, Oct. 11

We Got This Milwaukee invites community members to enjoy coffee from Boujee Cup of Joe and make a bouquet out of flowers picked from the field. The meet-up will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 3169 N. Ninth St. More information here.

4. Celebration of Life: Saturday, Oct. 11

Faith, Life and Hope and Iglesia Nueva Vida are partnering to give residents free health screenings. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 2064 S. 14th St. and includes breast exams, prostate cancer screenings, eye exams and more. More information here.

5. Trunk or Treat: Saturday, Oct. 11

Ascension Lutheran Church invites families to a trunk-or-treat from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 1236 S. Layton Blvd. You can bring your car to decorate, come dressed in a costume, enjoy a bowl of chili and receive free candy. More information here.
