It’s Friday in Milwaukee, and here are some things we think you should know about. If you would like your event to be considered for this column, please submit your news by clicking here at least two weeks in advance.

1. Corazon Latino Festival: Friday, Nov. 14

Casimir Pulaski High School welcomes families to its Latino festival, which aims to provide English and Spanish resources and opportunities for the community. The festival is from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14 at 2500 W. Oklahoma Ave. More information here.

2. Power of Attorney Clinic: Saturday, Nov. 15

The Hmong American Friendship Association is partnering with the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee to offer a free power of attorney clinic from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 728 N. James Lovell St. You will learn how to make decisions about guardianship, health care, property and finances. Registration is required. More information here.

3. Coat Drive: Saturday, Nov. 15

K3 Motherhood Foundation is hosting a coat drive to help keep children and families warm this season. Residents are also encouraged to donate new and gently used coats. The coat drive begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 3801 W. Vliet St. Children must be present at the event to receive a coat. More information here.

4. Bi Hiking: Saturday, Nov. 15

Bi+ Pride Milwaukee is inviting individuals to take a stroll through Mitchell Park from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15. Participants will meet in front of the Mitchell Park Domes Horticulture Conservatory, 524 S. Layton Blvd. Sturdy shoes are recommended. More information here.

5. Harvest Fest: Saturday, Nov. 15

Friends of Havenwoods State Forest and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources are hosting a Harvest Fest for families from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 6141 N. Hopkins St. The fest will include temporary tattoos, nature games, crafts, food and a night hike. More information here.
