1. Holiday Party and Town Hall: Monday, Nov. 24

North Avenue Community Ambassador welcomes residents to a holiday party and town hall meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 24 at St. Ann Center Bucyrus Campus, 2450 W. North Ave. The gathering will feature free food, a turkey giveaway and raffles. Ald. Russell Stamper and Mike Hutchinson of the Milwaukee Department of Public Works are guest speakers. 2. Cybersecurity Workshop: Monday, Nov. 24

A free cybersecurity workshop for all ages will be led by Community Resilience at Cactus beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 24 at 2496 S. Wentworth Ave. You will learn how to protect your data online through strong passwords, VPNs, multifactor authentication and other tools. More information here.

3. Yoga Class: Monday, Nov. 24

Stretch your body and relax your mind during a free yoga class through Kennedy’s Circle of Wellness from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 24 at 3614 W. North Ave. The class will be led by instructor Adwoa Asentu and all levels are welcome. Registration is required. More information here.

4. Amani Thanksgiving: Tuesday, Nov. 25

Amani United and the Dominican Center are partnering to host a Thanksgiving grocery giveaway from noon to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 2470 W. Locust St. Amani residents who live in the 53206 ZIP code will receive a bag filled with food and resources. Please bring an ID or a piece of mail to show proof of residency. More information here.

5. Read Aloud, Read Along: Wednesday, Nov. 26

Elementary school children ages 6-12 are invited to join children’s librarian Miss Liz to practice their reading. The read along will take place in the children’s room at the Milwaukee Public Library Center Street Branch, 2727 W. Fond Du Lac Ave., from 3:30 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26.
