1. Washington Park Monthly Meeting: Monday, Feb. 2

At 5:30 p.m., Rooted & Rising is hosting its monthly community meeting to connect neighbors with resources and local events, at 3940 W. Lisbon Ave. More information here.

2. Family Culture Night: Tuesday, Feb. 3

Head to the Gerald L. Ignace Indian Health Center, 930 W. Historic Mitchell St., from 5 to 7 p.m. for a culture night centered on Bear Bundle teachings, reflection and balance. All faiths and backgrounds are welcome. More information here.

3. Exploring Milwaukee African American civil servant archives: Tuesday, Feb. 3

Interested in exploring the Milwaukee Public Library’s archives to celebrate Black History Month? Come see historical materials about the Milwaukee African American civil servants at the Milwaukee Central Library Branch’s Art, Music and Recreation Room, 814 W. Wisconsin Ave., from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. More information here.

4. Bilingual Story Time with Betty: Wednesday, Feb. 4

Bilingual STORY TIME MKE is hosting a Valentine’s Day story time party at Rescued Roasters, 4435 W. Forest Home Ave. From 10 to 10:45 a.m., listen to a story, make crafts, sing and dance. Wearing the colors, pink, red or white are encouraged. Register here. More information here.

5. Restorative Justice Cyphers: Thursday, Feb. 5

Your Move MKE is opening its door to all ages to produce, engineer and perform music from 5  to 7 p.m. at 1674 S. 11th St. Register for free here. More information here
