1. Lisbon Ave Corridor Community Vision Session: Monday, Feb. 23

Join Rooted and Rising, the Milwaukee Department of City Development, Ce Planning Studio and Athena Communications for a visioning session to discuss the future street and economic development of Lisbon Avenue between North 27th and North 46th streets. Sessions will take place throughout the day on Monday, Feb. 23 between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Washington Park location of the Urban Ecology Center, 1859 N. 40th St., and participants can attend any time through the day. 2. Teen Trades and Tech Fair: Monday, Feb. 23

Interested in a career in technology or the trades? Milwaukee Public Library’s Good Hope branch, 7715 Good Hope Road, is hosting a Trades and Tech fair with organizations including Bell Ambulance, JobCorps, North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters and more from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 23. 3. North Sherman Boulevard Project Public Meeting: Tuesday, Feb. 24

The Milwaukee Department of Public Works is presenting the preferred alternative designs for the urban planning project on North Sherman Boulevard between West North Avenue and West Capitol Drive at Mary Ryan Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee, 3000 N. Sherman Blvd., from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24. More information about the engagement event here.

4. Line Dance Class: Wednesday, Feb. 25

On Wednesday, Feb. 25, Kim of Primetime Line Dance is hosting a free line dance class at Sherman Phoenix Marketplace, 3536 W. Fond du Lac Ave., from 6 to 7:30 p.m. More information here.

5. The Wind Down at Summer of ’85: Wednesday, Feb. 25

On Wednesday, Feb. 25, Social X MKE is hosting its signature happy hour series to celebrate Black history month at Summer of ’85, 2213 N. Martin Luther King Drive, from 5 to 8 p.m. Get your free ticket here.
