1. Versiti Blood Drive: Friday, March 27

Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee County Historical Society are partnering to host a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 27 at 910 N. Martin Luther King Drive. 2. Local Business Stories Features: Friday, March 27

Michelle Luckett Pitts, owner of New Pitts Mortuary, will make an appearance from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday, March 27 at the Milwaukee Public Library Atkinson Branch, 1960 W. Atkinson Ave., to discuss her stories, challenges and passion for running a mortuary business. More information here.

3. Phenomenal Woman Marketplace: Saturday, March 28

America’s Black Holocaust Museum invites residents to a pop-up marketplace to celebrate the history of women from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 28 at 401 W. North Ave. The marketplace will feature live poetry, vendors, children’s activities and more. More information here.

4. HERStory: Saturday, March 28

HER: Health, Empowerment and Resilience will be celebrating the legacy and impact women have made in music through live performances and storytelling from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 28 at the Varsity Theatre, 1326 W. Wisconsin Ave. Monetary and physical donations are accepted, which will be used to support period poverty. Tickets are free. More information here.

5. Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 28

An Easter egg hunt hosted by Milwaukee Police Department District 2 will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 28 at Modrzejewski Playfield, 1020 W. Cleveland Ave. Children will enjoy candy, raffles, prizes and games. Baskets are limited to first come, first served. More information here.
