Alderwoman Sharlen Moore is delighted to present the inaugural All In, All Youth, All Summer resource and employment fair taking place Thursday, April 2 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Baird Center, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave.

The event is a citywide effort connecting elementary through college-age youth with local organizations that offer enriching summer programs, apprenticeships, support resources, and meaningful employment opportunities that prepare young people for future success.

“There are so many options available to young people during the summer months, ranging from paid employment to career exploration, recreational programming, workforce readiness, and so much more,” said Alderwoman Moore. “We know our youth want structured summer activities, and that the community and private sector have options for them. So our goal is to bring everyone together in one place to ensure that we are proactive about every young person having the opportunity to engage in a summer
opportunity.”

The event is free and open to youth from elementary through college age (college enrollment not required). Light refreshments will also be provided. Advance registration is encouraged and is available at Milwaukee.gov/All-In. The event is a collaboration between the City of Milwaukee, Milwaukee Common Council, Employ Milwaukee, Milwaukee Community Justice Council, and Wisconsin Community Services.
