1. Paint the Resistance: Student Art Build: Friday, April 10

Participants in the Student Day of Strike & May Day can create art for the strike with Voces de la Frontera, 733 W. Mitchell St., on Friday, April 10 from 1:30 to 4 p.m. More information here.

2. Milwaukee Film Festival Cine Sin Fronteras Kick Off Party: Friday, April 10

Preview the Cine Sin Fronteras program before the Milwaukee Film Festival at Discourse Coffee, 158 S. Barclay St., on Friday April 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. More information here.

3. Fostering Friendships Festival: Saturday, April 11

The Gerald L. Ignace Indian Health Center, 930 W. Historic Mitchell St., is hosting a safe space for Native families as part of National Child Abuse Prevention Month with beading, making medicine pouches, a bike giveaway and more on Saturday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. More information here.

4. Walker’s Point Spring Clean Up: Sunday, April 12

Help clean up Walker’s Point with neighbors at the Zócalo Food Park, 636 S. 6th St., on Sunday, April 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. More information here.

5. Good to Game with Safe & Sound: Sunday, April 12

Bring your favorite game or choose from a game library to play at Safe & Sound, 4422 W. Leon Terrace, on Sunday, April 12 from 3 to 6 p.m. More information here.
