1. Washington Park Community Town Hall: Monday, June 8
The Milwaukee Police Department and City of Milwaukee Department of Community Wellness and Safety encourage youths and adults to attend a community town hall from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Monday, June 8 at the Milwaukee Public Library Washington Park Branch, 2121 N. Sherman Blvd. Discussions will focus on sexual violence, neighborhood updates from MPD, the mobile mental health clinic and more. More information here.
2. Neighborhood Meeting: Monday, June 8
Muskego Way Forward invites residents to its monthly neighborhood meeting from 4:45 to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 8 at Milwaukee Community Crossroads, 807 S. 14th St. Neighbors will discuss a variety of topics. Dinner will be provided. More information here.
3. Garden Homes Delivering on the Promise: Monday, June 8
Residents of the 30th Street Corridor will meet from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, June 8 at SHECHEM at Hope Street, 2510 W. Capitol Drive, to discuss education and intergenerational opportunities. Call 414-509-5115 to RSVP. More information here.
4. Hope Street Brunch Tour: Tuesday, June 9

5. Renter’s Rights Legal Clinic: Wednesday, June 10
Staff attorneys from Legal Action of Wisconsin are offering a free clinic to help Clarke Square residents understand their rights as renters. The clinic will have free legal advice on evictions, termination notices and other legal issues from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10 at the Sixteenth Street Community Health Center, 1036 S. Cesar E. Chavez Drive. Walk-ins are welcome and it’s first come, first served. More information here.
