1. Nutrition in the Neighborhoods: Tuesday, June 23

Attend health educational classes, cooking demos, learn about community resources on Tuesday, June 23 at Davidson Park, 3725 W. Juneau Ave., from 3 to 6 p.m. The first 200 attendees will receive  five nutritious take-home meals in a reusable cooler bag. More information here.

2. Poetry and Picnic Women’s Gathering: Wednesday, June 24

Join the Gerald L. Ignace Indian Health Center at theNative Wellness Garden, 3780 S. 6th St., for a “Poetry and Picnic” evening on Wednesday, June 24 from 5 to 7 p.m. Women can share poetry with the group and connect with the outdoors More information here.

3. Milwaukee Night Market Western Night: Wednesday, June 24

Milwaukee Night Market is hosting a western-themed night with country ballads and line dance lessons on Wednesday, June 24 at Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Wisconsin Avenue from 5 to 9 p.m. The event will include over 100 vendors. More information here.

4. Ice Cream Social and Resource Fair: Thursday, June 25

Join VIA Community Development Corporation for ice cream, fun games and crafts on Thursday, June 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. at 3400 W. Rogers St. The event is presented by Associated Bank. More information here.

5. Sherman Phoenix Night Market and Patio Party: Thursday, June 25

Head to Sherman Phoenix for a summer night market with music, food, shopping, games and fun for the whole family on Thursday, June 25 at 3536 W. Fond Du Lac Ave., from 5 to 9 p.m. More information here.
