2. Fourth of July Community Celebration: Saturday, July 4

The Riverwest Business Association is hosting a Fourth of July community celebration at the Gordon Park Pavilion, 2828 N. Humboldt Blvd., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 4. A fireworks show will take place at the park at 9:15 p.m. More information here.

3. Playtime at Cooper Park: Saturday, July 4

Join the Friends of Cooper Park for a community playtime with snacks, chalk and bubbles at 8701 W. Chambers St., from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 4. More information here.

4. Zoo $4 on the 4th of July: Saturday, July 4

Go to the Milwaukee County Zoo, 10001 W. Bluemound Road, for only $4 on Saturday, July 4 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. More information here.

5. Soulful Sundaze: A Line Dance Affair: Sunday, July 5

Get ready to line dance with the Soulful Liners of MKE from 3 to 7 p.m. at Elevate MKE, 1131 N. Water St., on Sunday, July 5. Purchase tickets for $10.79 here.
