1. A Walk in the Park: Friday, Nov. 1
Join the Milwaukee Parks Foundation for a walk in Walker Square Park from noon to 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1 at 951 W. Mineral St. Along the way, you will visit community gatherings that celebrate Dia de los Muertos. More information here.
2. UMOS Fall Career Expo: Friday, Nov. 1
UMOS Inc. will host a fall career expo at 9 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 1 at 2701 S. Chase Ave., Suite A. You will meet employers who are hiring in banking, health care, retail and more. More information here.
3. Cream City: Respect My Vote: Friday, Nov. 1
Hip Hop Caucus invites Black men to engage in a conversation about local policies. This conversation will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1 at 3212 W. Center St. Registration is required. More information here.
4. Día de Los Muertos Exhibition: Saturday, Nov. 2
Walker’s Point Center for the Arts will hold an opening reception for an exhibition in honor of Dia de los Muertos. The event will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 839 S. Fifth St. The day will be filled with vendors, performances, workshops, food and more. More information here.
5. Men’s Wellness Day: Saturday, Nov. 2
Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin will host its second annual Men’s Wellness Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 5370 W. Fond du Lac Ave. Men will have the opportunity to participate in self-care activities like getting a manicure, massage, haircut and more. The day will also include brunch and a panel discussion.
