1. Dawah Center Food Pantry: Monday, Nov. 25
The Milwaukee Islamic Dawah Center will be distributing food from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 25 at 5135 N. Teutonia Ave. Upon your arrival, be sure to have an ID and a box or bag to put food items in. RSVP is required. More information here.
2. Photogram Class: Monday, Nov. 25
Attend a free photogram class led by artist Pat Robinson, who will teach students how to use photo paper and the foundations of manual photography. The class will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25 at Mitchell Street Arts, 710 W. Historic Mitchell St. This is a pay-what-you-can class. Registration is required. 3. Mitchell Street Open Maker Time: Monday, Nov. 25
Teens, ages 13 to 18, can hang out and engage with their peers over art and technology from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25 at the Milwaukee Public Library Mitchell Street Branch. More information here.
4. Amani Thanksgiving Grocery Giveaway: Tuesday, Nov. 26
Amani United and the Dominican Center are partnering to host a Thanksgiving grocery giveaway from noon to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 2470 W. Locust St. Amani residents who live in the 53206 ZIP code will receive a bag filled with food and resources. Please bring an ID or a piece of mail to show proof of residency. More information here.
5. Community Thanksgiving Feast 2024: Thursday, Nov. 28
Dream Team United WI will host a community Thanksgiving feast for those in need from noon to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28 between North 35th and West Center streets. More information here.
