1. Getting Fathers Connected and Back on Track Event: Monday, March 31
Milwaukee County Department of Health & Human Services invites fathers to receive assistance with child support, explore job opportunities, listen to speakers and enjoy free food. In addition, 250 free laptops will be given away. The gathering will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, March 31, at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, 1531 W. 2. Building Beloved Metcalfe Park Monthly Meeting: Monday, March 31
Metcalfe Park Community Bridges will host its monthly meeting from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 31 at 3624 W. North Ave. Topics will center around elections, upcoming actions, resources and more. Click here to register. More information here.
3. Drop-In ESL Tutoring for Adults: Monday, March 31
If you need help improving your English skills, ESL tutors will be available from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, March 31 at the Milwaukee Public Library Mitchell Street Branch, 906 W. Historic Mitchell St. You can receive help with reading, writing, listening and speaking. More information here.
4. Let’s Talk Homes: Tuesday, April 1
A housing session led by real estate expert Brandon Ryles will teach community members how to buy or sell a home. Attendees have the chance to receive tips on market trends and home values.
