Itโ€™s Monday in Milwaukee, and here are some things we think you should know about. If you would like your event to be considered for this column, please submit your news by clicking here at least two weeks in advance.

1. Free Summer Volleyball Camp: Tuesday, July 15

The Hmong American Friendship Association is partnering with STRYV365 to host an eight-week summer volleyball camp on Tuesdays and Thursdays for teens ages 13 to 18. The next volleyball session is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15 at 3824 W. Vliet St. Registration is required. More information here.ย

2. Art Cart: Tuesday, July 15

Children have the opportunity to create a masterpiece from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15 at the Milwaukee Public Library Mitchell Street Branch, 906 W. Historic Mitchell St. A suggested prompt will be given and children can get crafty with the materials provided. More information here. 

3. Get It Out the Mud: Wednesday, July 16ย 

Youths ages 12 to 20 are invited to a wellness series from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16 at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, 1531 W. Vliet St. Boys will learn about personal growth, how to stay grounded, stress relief and more topics. A free meal will be provided and attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. 4. July Career Fair: Wednesday, July 16 

Milwaukee Public Schools is hosting a career fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16 at MPS Central Services, 5225 W. Vliet St. There will be career opportunities and onsite interviews. More information here. 

5. Brat with a Cop: Thursday, July 17 

The Milwaukee Police Department and Milwaukee County Sheriffโ€™s Office, Cops for Kids and others are partnering to host โ€œBrat with a Copโ€ from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 17 at Clarke Square Park, 2330 W. Vieau Place. This community pop-up is free and open to the public. You will enjoy fellowshipping, food and music. More information here.
