It’s that time of year when thousands of Milwaukee Public Schools eighth graders decide where they’d like to go to high school next year. 

Priority registration for MPS high schools opened on Oct. 4 and will run until Nov. 3 at 11:59 p.m.

To help students and parents learn more about their options, MPS is holding a districtwide high school enrollment fair from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 11 at Milwaukee School of the Arts, 2300 W. Highland Ave.  Staff will be available to help parents submit enrollment applications and answer questions.

High schools across the district are also hosting individual open houses to help students and parents learn more about what each school offers.

Audubon Technology & Communication Center: Tuesday, Oct. 7

Bay View High School: Tuesday, Oct 7

Reagan High School: Tuesday, Oct. 7

Rufus King International High School: Wednesday, Oct. 8

MPS High School Enrollment Fair: Saturday, Oct. 11
