Groups across Milwaukee are hosting events celebrating Halloween through October. 

Whether you’re looking to trick-or-treat, enter a costume contest, dance to live music or get resources, these events have something for everyone.

Milwaukee Lowrider Trunk or Treat: Friday, Oct. 24

Whether you want to trunk-or-treat, listen to live music or look at decked-out vehicles, join Milwaukee Lowrider, Custom Trucks and the Vicla community at the Harley-Davidson Museum, 400 W. Canal St., between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Costumes are encouraged for all ages.More information here.

Dr. Martin L. King Jr. Community Center Pumpkin Patch Festival: Saturday, Oct. 25

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., join Lorraine P. Carter Family Services at the Dr. Martin Luther King Community Center, 1531 W. Vliet, for free pumpkin decorating, a DJ and fun for kids. Call 414-344-5600 for more information.

Salem Lutheran Church and School Trunk or Treat: Saturday Oct. 25

Join Salem Lutheran Church and School for a trunk-or-treat in its parking lot at 6810 N. 107th St. from noon to 2 p.m. More information here.

No Tricks, Just Treats. Halloween Craft Workshop: Saturday, Oct. 25

FATE: Arts and Performing Arts group is hosting a Halloween-themed craft workshop from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 339 W. North Ave. Register here, spots are limited.

Fourth Annual Sherman Park Harvest Fest: Saturday, Oct. 25

From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. have fall fun with food and games at Sherman Park, 3000 N. Sherman Blvd. More information here.

Harvest Fest and Safe Trick-or-Treat: Saturday, Oct. 25

Amani United and the Dominican Center are hosting a harvest festival on North 26th Street between Locust and Burleigh streets from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The fest will have pumpkin and cookie decorating, pony rides, trick-or-treating and more. The street will be closed for biking. More information here.

Villard Avenue Trick or Treat: Saturday, Oct. 25

Villard Avenue Business Improvement District is hosting a trick-or treat event with a magician, face painting, DJ and prizes at North 36th Street and West Villard Avenue. A limited number of free costumes will be available. For more information, call 414-477-4482.

Trick or Treat at Latino Family Expo: Sunday, Oct. 26

El Conquistador Latino Newspaper is hosting a trick-or-treat event at Latino Family Expo 2025. Children ages 12 and younger can also experience a piñata party and costume contest at South Division High School, 1515 W. Lapham Blvd. from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

WestCare Wisconsin Trunk or Treat: Sunday, Oct. 26

On West Wright Street between North Sixth Street and Martin Luther King Drive, WestCare Wisconsin will host a trunk-or-treat, have live music, bounce houses and more from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. More information here.

Trick-or-Treat in the Park: Sunday, Oct. 26

From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., families can visit Walker Square Park, 1029 S. 9th St., for music, face painting, arts and crafts, a costume parade and more. Volunteers are needed. For more information, call Maribel at 414-286-2861. More information here.

Gates Family Youth Center and Pristine Childcare Harvest Trunk or Treat: Sunday, Oct. 26

Fall Together Creative Harvest Event: Sunday, Oct. 26

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., join Riverworks Development Corp. for face painting, a petting zoo and free costumes for youth at the Harambee Tot Lot at 129 E Keefe Ave. Register here.

Kosciuszko Resource Fair and Trick or Treating: Thursday, Oct. 30 

The Kosciuszko Community Center Advisory Board is hosting a trick-or-treat event with music and a costume contest and will share resources from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 2201 S. Seventh St. More information here.

Halloween at the “Hall”: Friday, Oct. 31

Developing Youth Inc. is hosting games, a dance and costume contest from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at King Hall, 3413 N. Martin Luther King Drive. More information here.

Journey House Family Monster Mash Bash: Friday Oct. 31

From 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 pm, join Journey House at 2110 W. Scott St. for a Halloween bash. Youths under 17 must be accompanied by an adult 25 years or older with a photo ID. More information here.

City of Milwaukee Trick-or-Treat: Friday, Oct. 31

From 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., kids can trick-or-treat around the city and families can turn on their porch lights and pass out candy during the city’s official trick-or-treating hours.
