Glide through the snow and discover the joy of Nordic cross-country skiing with friends from the Urban Ecology Center! In this outdoor program, you’ll learn the fundamentals of cross-country skiing—from finding a balanced stance to coordinating arm and leg movements—building a solid foundation in this classic winter pastime.

UEC Facilitators will create small, capacity-limited groups to ensure personalized attention, so you can progress at your own comfort level and skill. All gear is provided for participants with kids’ shoe sizes 10 through men’s size 15. Ages 6 and up are welcome and don’t forget your warm layers!
