1. Bank like a Boss: Monday, Feb. 9
Young people ages 16 to 24 can learn financial literacy skills and open a checking and savings account with Summit Credit Union from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 9. at Owen’s Place, 4610 W. Fond Du Lac Ave. School or government ID required. More information here.
2. All Ages Bingo Night: Tuesday, Feb. 10
Join Merrill Park Neighbors at the St. Rose community room, 540 N. 31st St. on Tuesday, Feb. 10 for a free bingo night from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. All ages are welcome, but attendees under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. More information here.
3. Building Unity with Wisconsin Voices: Wednesday, Feb. 11
Join Building Unity on Wednesday, Feb. 11 for a potluck and monthly gathering to explore collaborative action and speak with groups working for peace, justice, sustainability and mutual aid. The meeting will be held on the seventh floor of Wisconsin Voices, 4201 N. 27th St., from 6 to 8:30 p.m. More information here.
4. February Neighbor Meeting: Wednesday, Feb. 11
VIA Community Development Corp. is hosting its monthly meeting from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 3524 W. National Ave. Dinner will be provided. RSVP to attend here. More information here.
5. Jam House: Thursday, Feb. 12
Arts @ Large is hosting a free jam to play and listen to music on Thursday, Feb. 12 at 6:30 p.m., 1100 S. 5th St. A piano, amp and drums are provided. More information here.
