1. Hands-Only CPR, Stop the Bleed and Narcan Training: Saturday, Feb. 21
Learn how to administer the opioid-overdose-reversing drug Narcan (naloxone), administer hands-only CPR and stop a severe bleeding event with the Milwaukee Fire Department and Froedtert and Medical College of Wisconsin on Saturday, Feb 21. The free training will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at Gee’s Clippers, 2200 N. Martin Luther King Drive. More information here.
2. Urban Candlelight Hike: Saturday, Feb. 21
Join the Friends of Hank Aaron State Trail and the Urban Ecology Center, 3700 W. Pierce St., for a candlelight hike, campfire and snacks at Three Bridges Park from 5:30 to 8 p.m on Saturday, Feb. 21. Get free tickets here. More information here.
3. Blackout Vendor Market: Saturday, Feb. 21
Head to Sherman Phoenix Marketplace, 3536 W. Fond du Lac Ave., for a market celebrating Black music, food, arts and culture from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21. More information here.
4. Black Birth Collection 2026: Legacy and Lineage: Saturday, Feb. 21
Celebrate the beauty and strength of Black mothers with educational workshops, powerful stories and community support at the PEAK Initiative, 2480 W. Cherry St., on Saturday, Feb. 21 from noon to 3:30 p.m. More information here.
5. Black Joy Market: Saturday, Feb. 21
Check out Black vendors and entrepreneurs at the Black Joy Market, hosted by the African American Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin. The market starts at 10 a.m. at Fruition MKE, 819 N. 27th St., on Saturday, Feb. 21. More information here.
