MILWAUKEE, WI — God Degree Media and Pinta Cielo Creative Studios will present Noche de Migrantes on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Villa Arco, 804 W. Greenfield Ave. Doors open at 6 p.m., and admission will be pay-as-you-can.
A stop on the “El Águila y El Cóndor” tour, Noche de Migrantes brings touring and Milwaukee-based artists together for an intimate evening of music, art, conversation and community. Expect an evening of hip hop with a Latin twist, blending bilingual storytelling, cumbia and reggae influences, and socially conscious lyricism. The event centers the experiences of immigrants and diasporic communities while creating space to explore identity, belonging, resilience and what it means to build community in Milwaukee.
The evening will feature acclaimed Spanish-language hip-hop artist Audry Funk and Ecuadorian-rooted rapper and composer FaceVsIt, alongside Milwaukee artists DJ Skeletone, Ixchelita and Nalani.
Known for music that explores feminism, migration and social justice, Audry Funk has spent more than two decades building a career as an independent artist, rapper and activist. She has been featured in outlets including Rolling Stone en Español and has sold out shows across Europe. FaceVsIt brings bilingual storytelling and a deep connection to his Ecuadorian roots, drawing from his experiences of identity, community and the complexities of the immigrant experience — building a bridge between Ecuador and Los Angeles through a series of events in both places.
The performances will be followed by a facilitated community conversation, giving artists and attendees an opportunity to reflect on themes that emerge through the music and share their own experiences. Guests will also be invited to participate in interactive activities centered around immigration, identity, family and belonging.
Noche de Migrantes is rooted in immigrant solidarity and the belief that music, art and community can create space for both reflection and joy. The goal is not simply to bring people together for a performance, but to create an environment where people can feel seen, share stories, make connections and leave with a deeper sense of community.
Invite a friend and meet us at Villa Arco, located on Milwaukee’s South Side, a historic community and arts space rooted in the Walker’s Square neighborhood. The venue is an intimate setting for an evening centered around culture, identity and community.
