1. Health and wellness donation drive for youth: Ongoing

Pathfinders, a youth development and crisis intervention organization, is looking for health and wellness items, including first aid kits, allergy medicine, cold/flu medicine, cough drops, Q-tips, body spray, rubbing alcohol and Band-Aids. Donations can be dropped off from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 4200 N. Holton St. Email dlee@pathfindersmke.org with a drop-off time and a list of items before dropping off.

2. Free virtual driver’s education class: Monday, Jan. 10 through Thursday, Jan. 13

The Greater Milwaukee Urban League hosts a free driver’s permit class, which will be held virtually from 11 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 10 through Thursday, Jan. 13. Additional classes and eligibility information can be found here.

3. Muskego Way Forward community meeting: Monday, Jan. 10

Meet your Muskego Way neighbors and discuss neighborhood topics during a virtual meeting from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10. Meetings are held on the second Monday of the month. More information here.

4. Meet the artists behind “MALA”: Thursday, Jan. 13

Meet the artists behind “MALA,” an upcoming Milwaukee Chamber Theater play written by Melinda Lopez. This event is free and runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 13 at Latino Arts, 1028 S 9th St. You can RSVP here.

5. Tickets on sale for St. Ann’s Indaba African Ball: Ongoing

Tickets are on sale for St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care’s third annual Indaba African Ball. The event takes place on Saturday, Feb. 5 on the Bucyrus Campus, 2450 W. North Ave. The ball is a fundraiser for the Indaba Band Shell, a popular entertainment venue located on the Bucyrus Campus grounds. Click here for ticket information.
