1. Laughing Liberally Milwaukee: Saturday, July 15

Enjoy a political comedy show on Saturday, July 15 called “Laughing Liberally Milwaukee.” Multiple comedians will joke about topics such as LGBTQ rights, abortion and voting rights. This event begins at 8 p.m. at ComedySportz Milwaukee, 420 S. 1st St. Tickets are $8. More information here.

2. Pop-up Market in Walker’s Point: Saturday, July 15

Clocktower Antiques is puttting together a pop-up market in Walker’s Point on Saturday, July 15 at 1134 S. 1st St. from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Family and friends will have the chance to buy items from 30 vendors and food trucks. More information here.

3. Beginner Poi Dance Classes: Saturday, July 15

Poi dance is a performance art involving spinning weights and body movements. Outdoor beginner classes will be at the Milwaukee Public Library Tippecanoe Branch, 3912 S. Howell Ave. on Saturday, July 15 from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Feel free to bring movement props like hula hoops and batons if you would like. More information here.

4. Community Pop-Up: Saturday July 15

A free community pop-up event will take place Saturday, July 15 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mercy Memorial Baptist Church, 2474 N. 37th St. Families and individuals can receive free groceries, hygiene products, resources and even enjoy a cookout. More information here.

5. Fit Club MKE Baseball and Softball Clinic: Saturday, July 15

Fit Club MKE is a charity organization offering support to Milwaukee youths in underserved communities by introducing them to sports. It will be collaborating with Beckum-Stapleton Little League to have a free community baseball and softball clinic on Saturday, July 15 for children ages 6 to 12 at Sherman Park, 3000 N. Sherman Blvd. Children will be learning techniques and other fundamentals from Fit Club MKE founder and Executive Director Marcellus Dawson. Registration is required for each child.
