1. Breakfast Pizza and Electronics Recycling: Friday, Sept. 29
Menomonee River Valley invites you to Stamm Technologies, 1207 W. Canal St., on Friday, Sept. 29 from 7 a.m. to noon for breakfast pizza and coffee by Rishi Sparkling Botanicals. You are encouraged to bring old electronics from your home or office so they can be recycled. More information here.
2. Season 7 Kickoff of Grace Weber’s Music Lab: Friday, Sept. 29
Grace Weber’s Music Lab starts its seventh season Friday, Sept. 29 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. This is the chance for teens ages 13 to 18 to register for an open mic, learn more about the music industry from experienced artists like Victor Barnett Jr. and others at Radio Milwaukee, 220 E. 3. Havenwoods Home Tour: Saturday, Sept. 30
Check out the Havenwoods neighborhood through a bus tour and learn about ownership, interior styles and more on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Havenwoods State Forest, 6141 N. Hopkins St. Be sure to attend the Homes and Habitat Fest that’s happening afterward at the same location. More information here.
4. Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month: Saturday, Sept. 30
September is Hispanic Heritage Month. A festival will be held with over 30 vendors on Saturday, Sept. 30 at the BMO Harris Bank, 2266 S. 13th St., The event takes place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. More information here.
5. Neighborhood Family Reunion at Atkinson Park: Saturday, Sept. 30
A neighborhood family reunion will take place Saturday, Sept. 30 at Atkinson Park, 936 W. Atkinson Ave., from noon to 6 p.m. During this cookout, there will be a grocery giveaway, basketball playing and games. More information here.
