1. Feeling it Fitness Bounce Work: Monday, Oct. 23
Spend $10 for a bounce work fitness class with Feeling it Fitness, which uses hip-hop to burn up to 1,000 calories. 2. Mixer at Sherman Phoenix: Monday, Oct. 23
Join the Sherman Phoenix from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 23 for a community partner networking event where you can meet and collaborate with other community organizations at 3536 W. Fond du Lac Ave. Registration is required. More information here.
3. Free Haircuts: Tuesday, Oct. 24
Barbershop Tuesdays are designated for free haircuts, and the next opportunity to get one is from noon to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center, 315 W. Court St. More information here.
4. Plant Power Meals and Snacks: Thursday, Oct. 26
A plant protein food demo will be held at 2007 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26. Recipes include Edamame avocado dip, lentil Bolognese, and more. Participants will also learn kitchen skills to prepare food properly. More information here.
5. Hispanic Heritage Month at South Division: Thursday, Oct. 26
Hispanic Heritage Month at South Division High School will feature performances led by students and community organizations like Cache MKE. The program begins at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26 at South Division, 1515 W. Lapham Blvd. Table activities, a community ofrenda, and food will be available. More information here.
