1. Black Space Men Session: Monday, Dec.18

A group therapeutic session will be offered by Black Space HQ from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 18 that aims to allow men from Black and Brown communities tap into their mental wellness. This session is free and will be held at 2201 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive . More information here.

2. Auer Avenue School Mobile Food Pantry: Tuesday, Dec. 19

Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin will be distributing boxes of meats and fresh produce from 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 19 at Auer Avenue School, 2319 W. Auer Ave. This is a drive-thru event and is for anyone in need. More information here.

3. Holiday Community Meal: Tuesday, Dec. 19

The Milwaukee Public Library Mitchell Street Branch will be serving a meal for the holidays from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 19 at 906 W. Historic Mitchell St. While food is being cooked, attendees will also get to play games with one another. Be sure to register.  More information here.

4. Amani Holiday Giveaway: Tuesday, Dec. 19

If you’re an Amani resident who has registered, don’t forget to pick up your free ham dinner box from noon to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 19 at the Dominican Center for Women, 2470 W. Locust St. More information here.

5. Christmas by Candlelight: Wednesday, Dec. 20

Join the City of Light Church for its Christmas festivities that will include Christmas songs, kids story time and more. The festivities will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 6725 W. Burleigh St. Click here to RSVP.  More information here.
