1. Winter Game Night: Friday, Feb. 16
The Martin Drive Neighborhood Association will host its seventh annual winter game night at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16 at 1260 N. 43rd St. Residents can bring a game and food to ensure a good time. Click here to RSVP. More information here.
2. Free Senior Food Distribution: Friday, Feb. 16
Independence First will hold its monthly senior food distribution from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 16 at 540 S. First St. Seniors should bring a valid ID. They will need to fill out an enrollment form before receiving free food. More information here.
3. Aurora Mobile Health Clinic: Friday, Feb. 16
Aurora Health Care will be at the Milwaukee Public Library Villard Square Branch to provide adults and children free health care services, including health screenings, medication review and more. The health clinic will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16 at 5190 N. 35th St. More information here.
4. Science Night: Friday, Feb. 16
American Science & Surplus invites you to experience a night filled with hands-on science experimentsfrom 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16 at 6901 W. Oklahoma Ave. Children must be supervised during this free event. More information here.
5. Blackout Vendor Market: Saturday, Feb. 17
Small business vendors will gather from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17 at the Sherman Phoenix Marketplace, 3536 W. Fond du Lac Ave. You can purchase food and other goods to support a small business. Click here to see the list of vendors. More information here.
